Full Spectrum is a three-dimensional wall sculpture that shifts pattern and colour as the viewer moves across the sculpture. Encompassing a spectrum of 102 colours on one side, the piece references both the spectrum that is visible to the human eye, as well as the iconic LGBT symbol of the rainbow. Viewed from the opposite end, Full Spectrum evolves into a midnight blue sky with reflective elements, representing the candlelight vigils held in memory of the members of the LGBT community in the city who died from AIDS in the 1980s.
